Agatha Dohunso-Tettey, age 68 of Fredericksburg, died Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at her residence.
Born in Ghana, Ms. Dohunso-Tettey was the daughter of the late Francis and Christiana Dohunso-Tettey.
Ms. Dohunso-Tettey was a nurse, and a member of Chancellor Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sarah Ayeh-Kumi, and a brother, Christopher Dohunso-Tettey.
Survivors include the head of the family, Arama Wilson; three sons, Daniel Ayeh-Kumi, Isaac Ayeh-Kumi, and Edwin Ayeh-Kumi; two daughters, Frances Ayeh-Kumi and Claudia Ayeh-Kumi; sisters and brothers, Mavis Giwa, Francis Dohunso-Tettey, and Bertha Dohunso-Tettey. Ten grandchildren and numerous extended family members also survive.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00am Saturday, December 27, 2008 in the chapel of Laurel Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Dunn officiating. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 26 from 6:00 - 8:00pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in to Mary Washington Hospice in memory of Agatha Dohunso-Tettey.
