Alan "Tom" Creel 68 of Locust Grove, Va passed away March 1, 2021 from complications due to COVID-19.

Born September 5, 1952 in Winchester, Va. He was the son of the late Kelly and Mary Creel. He graduated from Hargrave Military Academy. After graduation he went on to serve in the United States Army and was very proud of being a Veteran.  He worked in the trucking industry for 30+ years and retired in 2014.

He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Brenda G. Creel; 3 children: Mike Brooks, Michael Creel and Brandi Creel (John);6 Grandchildren: Damion, Dylan, William, Skye, Andrew and Brooke; 2 Great-Grandchildren: Carter & Brayden and 1 Great-Grandchild on the way: Ryan. Also surviving is 1 aunt: JoAnne McCloud and numerous cousins.

Tom loved fishing, camping and most of all spending time with his family & friends.  He will be greatly missed by all.

The family would like to thank everyone for the many phone calls, texts, emails, meals/food, flowers, visits, prayers and condolences.  They have each and all meant so much. They have been a wonderful reminder of the impact Tom has made on so many.

A Military Memorial service will be held at a later date.
