Alice M. Wasson, age 80 of Fredericksburg, VA, formerly of Greenville, MS, died Saturday, July 18, 2009, at her residence.
Born in Lexington, MS she was the daughter of the late Charles and Sue Ella Moore.
Mrs. Wasson was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Greenville, MS.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Joseph M. Wasson, Sr., two sons, Joe Wasson, Jr. and Charlie Wasson; one daughter, Randi Bolick, and 3 grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30pm Monday, July 20, 2009, in Laurel Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Perry Forrester officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105, in memory of Alice M. Wasson.
