Obit for Alverna Mae Blaser
Alverna Mae Blaser, 83, formerly of Balls Mills, PA and of Carisle PA., of King George VA., passed away Monday February 21, 2005 at Mary Washington Hospital.
She was the widow of the late Thomas S. Blaser and is survived by her three children; Dorothy J. Turnbull of PA, Thomas M. Blaser of OR. and Maurice B. Blaser of MD. three sisters ; Mary Satteson, Montgomery, PA, Margaret Bower and Allenwood, PA and Ellen Moon of Muncy, Pa. 15 grand-children and 23 great-grandchildren and one-great-great grandchild. She is pre-deceased by her daughter Margaret E. Ahmay
A Graveside funeral will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday Feb. 24 at Green Lawn Cemetery in Montgomery, PA .The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 -8:00 pm Wednesday at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, Spotsylvania VA .
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 2217 Princess Anne St., Suite 204-1, Fredericksburg, Va. 22401. On-line condolences may be made at laurelhillfuneralhome.com
