Alvin E. Enevoldsen, 63 of Spotsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022. After a long battle with esophageal cancer, he died at home with his wife by his side.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Peggy Walker Enevoldsen of Spotsylvania; son Christopher Enevoldsen; two beautiful twin granddaughters, Miranda and Maddison of the home as well as extended family and friends.
Alvin was predeceased by his grandmother, Emma S. DeBernard of Stafford; his mother, Helen D. Lynch of Fredericksburg; and his brother Kingsley L. Enevoldsen, Sr. of Brandywine, Md.
Alvin was born on July 31, 1958 in Washington, DC to Al Enevoldsen and Helen D. Lynch. He retired from George Washington University where he worked as a plumber for over 30 years and was a long time member of The Moose Lodge #1655 and The Eagles Lodge of Spotsylvania.
Pallbearers include Kingsley Enevoldsen, Jr., Tucker Fleming, Michael Lynch, Chet Pates, Kevin Powell and Woody Walker.
Relatives and friends are invited to Alvin's visitation on Thursday, May 19th at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, 10127 Plank Rd., Spotsylvania, VA from 6-8 PM. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 20th at Laurel Hill Memorial Park, 10127 Plank Rd., Spotsylvania, VA at 12 PM. Please meet at the gravesite by 11:50 AM.
