Amy Estes McCullough passed away following a battle with cancer. Amy was an accomplished lawyer, devoted to her clients and respected by her peers. She was selected as the Virginia Academy of Elder Law Attorneys as the organization's lawyer of the year and served as President of that organization. She was very active in her community, She served on the Boards of the Washington Heritage Museums, the Community Foundation, Fredericksburg Christian School, and the Service League, and as a volunteer in several churches. She graduated from Albermarle High School, later earning a B.A. with honors from the University of Virginia and her law degree from Washington & Lee School of Law. She is survived by her parents, Howard and Patricia Estes of Charlottesville; her brother, Ryan; her husband, Steve McCullough; and her two beloved boys, Andrew and William.

Family visitation will take place on May 22, beginning at 5 p.m., at Laurel Hill Funeral Home and a memorial service will be held at Hope Presbyterian Church in Fredericksburg at 10 a.m. on May 23. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Community Foundation or to the Washington Heritage Museums.
