Obituary

Andrew Jackson Spears, 81, of Spotsylvania, passed away Friday June 22, 2007 at his home.
Mr. Spears was of the Baptist faith, was a WWII Navy Veteran serving in the Pacific Theater and the owner and operator of A.J. Spears Guttering Co., Spotsylvania, for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rose Mary Spears; his three daughters, Linda Mae Noakes, Joan Marie Presutti and Adriene Joyce Embrey and her husband Larry, three brothers David H. Spears, George D. Spears and Herbert Spears. He is survived by his grandchildren, Gary Noakes, Deputy Steve Noakes, Chris Noakes, Charity Hartwell, Shaun Presutti, Sherry Presutti, Gordon Embrey and Stacy Embrey; his great grand children, Stevie Noakes, Jessica Noakes, Zachery Noakes, Dalton Hartwell, Joy Noakes, Cheyenne Noakes, Dante Presutti, Bella Presutti, Tyler Burkhardt, Victoria Ray Oakes, Corey Bouffard and Hunter William Andrew Embrey. He is predeceased by his sister Francis Lilly Sigrist and his four brothers, Thomas, Jack, William"Bill" and Benjamin Spears
Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday June 26, 2007 at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, Spotsylvania officiated by Pastor Jeffery Smith . Burial will be at Laurel Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. The pallbearers will be Gary Noakes, Chris Noakes, Steve Noakes Larry Dillard, Gordon Embrey and Thomas Spears.
