Anna H. DePalma
Anna Homer Depalma, 97, of Fredericksburg, VA passed away Saturday April 2, 2011 at the Woodmont Center, Fredericksburg.
Mrs. Depalma was born on July 19, 1913 in Elizabeth PA, the daughter of the late Kiprian and Pearl Homer. She lived in Jeanette, PA for years. She was employed at Jelleff's Dept. Store in Washington, DC for many years as a Merchandise Buyer.
She was the widow of the late Elmer Ernest Depalma and is survived by her daughters, Mary Ann Hazen of Somerset, PA and Joan Rose Koontz of South Pointe, OH. her 5 grandchildren, Mark Robert Hazen and his wife Cindy, Renee Lynn Piper and her husband Nyal, Candice Ann Bell and her husband Dirk, Randy Koontz and Gary Koontz, her sister Olga Lesnick of Brunswick, OH. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and one great- greatgrandchild.
Her remains rest at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, Spotsylvania where the family will recieve friends from 11:30 am till 12:00 noon Thursday April 7, 2011 and where a funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 noon.(Thursday)Entombment will be in the Laurel Hill Mausoleum
