Anna Leighton Snook, age 92, of Locust Grove, VA, passed away June 11, 2012 at Sudley Manor Assisted Living in Manassas, VA. She was the daughter of the late Terry A. Leighton and Laura Whiteside Leighton, and the widow of Lewis H. Snook. Mrs. Snook was also predeceased by one great-grandchild.
Survivors two sons, Howard Snook and his wife Katherine of Manassas, VA and Lewis Snook, Jr. and his wife Donetta of Peoria, IL; one brother, John Marshall Leighton and his wife Ruby of Buena Vista, VA, six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends Thursday evening June 14, 2012 from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Friday, June 15, 2012 at 11:00 am at the chapel at Laurel Hill Funeral Home in Spotsylvania with the Reverend Amos Healy officiating.
