Archie Duane Himes, 65, of Spotsylvania passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Mary Washington Hospital.  Archie was born on December 5, 1953 to Jimmie Duane and Freda Marie Himes (Hinish) in Roaring Springs, PA.  He was a self-employed auto mechanic and owner of K&K Imports in Newington, VA and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Lodge 4315 in Colonial Beach, VA.  His family says that he was loved by many, loved many and looked up to by his siblings, as a wonderful, caring role model who loved his friends and horses.  Survivors include his mother, Freda Marie Himes-Buchanan ; three brothers, Jimmie Himes, wife Dee, children Jennifer, Diane, Amy & Jennifer; Joe Himes and children Joe & Shannon, Glenn Himes, wife Tina; two sisters, Brenda Himes Kidd, children Johnny, Billy, Tommy & Tina; Robin Benson, husband Sonny, daughter Tracy; sister-in-law, Diana Himes (Brother Davy Himes wife), children, Danny, Nicole & David, girlfriend Mary and other relatives.  Archie was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie, brother Davy Himes & nephew Paul Benson.
