Armando Daniel Liberati, 72, of Lake Anna, passed away Friday February 17, 2012, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Armando was born on April 29, 1939 in Vineland, NJ, the son of the late Marco and Carmela Liberati. He lived in the Fairfax area of Northern Virginia for more than 50 years and settled in Lake Anna 10 years ago. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Falls Church, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a Trial Board Member of the AICPA, a member of the Kiwanis Club and a member of Ducks Unlimited. He was a former member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Fairfax and is a current member of St. Mathews Catholic Church in Spotsylvania.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Liberati, his two sons and their wives, Mark D. and Tammy L. Liberati of Fairfax and Thomas A. and Kelli A. Liberati of Manassas, and his daughter and her husband, Laura L. and Thomas L. Donnelly of Burke. He is survived by his five grandchildren; Nick, Zachary and Lyla Liberati and Paul and Julia Donnelly, and his two sisters, Edmeda Terranova of Florida and Sestilia "Trudy" Bender of Oklahoma.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 pm Wednesday, February 22, at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, 10127 Plank Rd. Spotsylvania, where a rosary will be said at 6:00 pm.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Thursday, February 23, at St. Patricks Catholic Church, 610 Ely's Ford Rd., Fredericksburg. Entombment with immediate family will be at Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
