Audrey Laverne (McCort) Weeder, 99, formerly of Lake of the Woods, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 in Charlottesville. Audrey was the daughter of Andrew and Louisa (Yau) McCort, born on March 8, 1918 in Needmore, PA. She married Horace Leonard Weeder on April 14, 1940, and he preceded her in death on November 19, 2010.
Audrey was a proud member of the Washington-Lewis Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Fredericksburg.
Survivors include: her son, Carl G. Weeder (Amy); daughter Linda A. Calderone (Lou); four granddaughters and seven great grandchildren. Funeral Services sill be held on Monday June 12, 2017 at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, at 11 a.m., with family receiving friends one hour before. In lieu of flowers, that family wish you to perform a Random Act of Kindness.
