Austin Lee Petitt Sr., 73, of Fredericksburg, VA, passed away on  February 21, 2024 at his residence. He was born on August 1, 1950 to the late George and Sally Petitt. He is preceded in death by his wife Karen Petitt.   He is survived by his children Austin Petitt Jr., Robert Petitt (Jill); Chris Petitt and Shelley Petitt; grandchildren; Samantha Krause (Brandon), Alexander Strianese, Torie Petitt, Charlie Petitt, Robbie Petitt; Kyle Beer, Chazen Petitt and Lil Chris Petitt; great grandchildren include: Kayden Krause, Karsen Krause, Carter and McKenzie. He is also survived by his sisters, Margaret Rogers and Patricia Fox Miller. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings; George Petitt Jr.; Mike Petitt, Charlie Petitt, Betty Quigley, Nancy Jones and Mary Etta Morris.
