Barbara G. Redina, age 69 of Spotsylvania, died peacefully on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at her residence in the loving care of here family following a lengthy illness.
Born in New York, she was the daughter of the late George and Marion Raymond Grass. Mrs. Redina was a contracting officer with the US Air Force. She had been a Girl Scout and Brownie Leader, and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Mrs. Redina is survived by her husband of 27 years, Mark W. Redina, daughter and son in law, Linda and William Stange, Riverton, WY; daughter and son in law, Roseann and "Skip" O'Herien, Canastota, NY; son, Edward J. Scerbo, Spotsylvania; daughter, Barbie Huff, Spotsylvania; four grandchildren, David Dungey and Jessica Burnett, Canastota, NY; Julie Stange and Elizabeth Stange, Riverton, WY; five great grandchildren, John, Mackenzie, and Victoria Burnett; Elizabeth Dungey, and Azaniah Curiel-Stange; two brothers, George Robert Grass, Port St. Lucie, FL; Michael Grass, Oneida, NY; and one sister, Marion Waters, Verona, NY.
A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00pm Thursday, May 22 in the chapel of Laurel Hill Funeral Home, 10127 Plank Road, Spotsylvania. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery on Thursday, June 19, at 2:00pm.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 - 7:00pm, prior to the service.
