Barry Dean Ferguson, 61, of Locust Grove, passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 26, 2018, with his family by his side. Barry was born on October 4, 1957 in Fauquier County, VA to James Pinkney Ferguson and Anna Roberta (Kearnes) Ferguson, and was raised in Culpeper, VA. He is survived by his wife, L. Annette (Price) Ferguson, whom he married on April 18, 1977 in Newport News, VA. During life, Barry enjoyed farming, operating machinery and trucks. He worked for VDOT and a variety of employers. Barry had a passion for mechanics and particularly for working on small engines. After returning to the Culpeper area, he joined Woodville Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. Recently he became a member of the Lake of the Woods Church in Locust Grove, VA. Barry was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Friend and Man. Other survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Isaac and Ella Kennen; a daughter, Holly Ferguson; a daughter and son-in-law, Amber and Ryan Stanley; and a daughter and her partner Samantha Ferguson and Gabe Bowen. He is survived by four brothers, James 'David", Allen, Calvin "Cal" (wife DeeAnn), and Aaron Ferguson. Also by two sisters, Mary Anna Walsh (husband Bob) and Sharon Franks (husband Jon); and eight grandchildren, JeKalyn and JeKyren Rowe, Adana Kennen, Kaisley, Keirin and Kinsey Stanley, Tyrus and Sage Bowen.  Memorial services will be held at the Lake of the Woods Church, Locust Grove, on Saturday December 29, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. Online condolences may be made at laurelhillfuneralhome.com .
