Bernadette Marie Keane, 62, of Locust Grove, passed away Saturday March 18, 2006 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Mrs. Keane was retired from NASA with 39 years of service, a former member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Woodbridge, a member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary in Woodbridge and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fredericksburg.
She was the daughter of the late Warren and Marjorie McGowan and is survived by her husband, Thomas Daniel Keane, her daughter and her husband, Jennifer Lyn Keane-Seay and Christopher, her son and his wife Michael Warren Keane and Christine, her brothers Kevin and Thomas McGowan, her sister, Diane Flint, her niece Sarah Flint, her nephews, John, Peter, Steven and Robert Monses and also her uncle and aunt John and Dorothy Foster.
A Mass of Resurrection will be conducted 10:00 am Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Fredericksburg. Burial will be at Laurel Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 6:00 Monday and Tuesday at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, Spotsylvania.
