Betty Louise Berdo, 79, of Lake of the Woods, passed away Dec. 25, 2012
She was a long-time resident of Annandale, VA, where she was active with the Brownies, Girl Scouts and the Broyhill Crest swim team. She worked as a nurse at Fairfax Hospital and the Northern VA Mental Health Institute.
Survivors include Robert H. Berdo, Jr. (Kathy) Lewis) of Alexandria, Victoria Berdo (Russell Goings) of Fairfax and Linda Kathleen Berdo Syran of Pasadena, MD. She leaves grandchildren Jeffrey, Ryley and Sarah Goings; Drew Berdo; step-grandchildren Benjamin and Heather Syran; and devoted Labradoodle Candy.

She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years Robert Henry Berdo and son-in-law Michael Syran.
She was a member of the Wilderness Community Church.
Services will be at the Wilderness Community Church, Saturday, Dec. 29 at 3:00 p.m.
A Celebration of Life will be held immediately after, in the Wilderness Community Church reception area.
