Bobby Lee Dolinger, 84, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Friday April 26, 2019 with his family at his bedside, at Mary Washington Hospital.  Bobby was born on May 27, 1934 in Green Cove, VA to Oscar McKinley and  Isadora (Shumate) Dolinger.  Bobby was a veteran of the US Army, serving from April 1957 to March 1959 as an Electric Equipment Repairman.  He married Dorothy Frances Bray on October 14, 1961.  Bobby retired from the US Post Office in 1991 in Woodbridge, VA and moved to the Fredericksburg area in 1995.  Bobby and Dorothy were members of the Tabernacle United Methodist Church.  Survivors include his wife, Dorothy ; son, Roger Bray; daughter, Donna Sabourin (Henry Leboeuf); brother, Danny Dolinger; two sisters, Jean Masker, Joanne Porter (Harold) and three grandchildren, Mark, Tanner, Jonathan and great grandchild, Aiden.

Visitation will be held on Friday May 3, 2019 from 12 noon to 2 pm at Laurel Hill Funeral home, with funeral services beginning at 2 pm.  Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park, with military honors performed by the US Army.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Heart Association at donatenow.heart.org
