Brian Michael Plotner, wonderful husband, father and brother, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the age of 46, after a courageous battle with cancer. Brian was born on April 14, 1971 in Thailand, moving soon thereafter to Virginia where he resided the rest of his life. Brian attended Ferrum College, obtaining a degree in Environmental Science, and led a dedicated career with Turner Construction Management for 17 years as a Claims Manager and Safety Manager. Brian will be forever loved by his wife and best friend of 12 years, Blair, and their adoring children, Ryder (8) and Maryn (6). He is also survived by his sister, Robin Plotner. He was the son of the late Terry and Sharon Plotner. In addition to his immediate family, Brian will be forever remembered by his extended family and numerous friends.
