Brooke Lea Arbogast, 25, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Mary Washington Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Brooke was born on June 17, 1992 in Manassas to Douglas and Mary Arbogast. She graduated from Riverbend High School in 2010 where she played softball.

Brooke earned her LPN from Germanna Community College, excelling academically and earning the position of Vice President of Phi Theta Kappa. Brooke was employed at Allergy and Asthma Center in Fredericksburg, where she had recently been named the Employee of the Year. Her choice of profession was a true reflection of her love and passion to help others. Brooke dedicated her life to caring for others especially during her time caring for Camron "Cam" Lindsay, her first home care pediatric patient. She enjoyed running, working out at the gym, and spending time with her family.

Brooke loved to train and to race, often running in local 5k races and the Rugged Maniac. She took first place for her age division in the Fredericksburg Mother's Day 5K. Her favorite training partner was her Mom and it was not uncommon to find her pushing a jogging stroller with her sweet puppy, Tucker. Brooke was a fun loving and true-friend, always looking to bring joy and laughter to everyone she knew. She had an uncanny ability to uplift those around her and bring a smile to everyone she met. Brooke Lea, you filled our hearts with love.

Survivors include her parents, Doug and Mary; brother, Brett (Amanda); Paternal Grandmother Daisy Arbogast; aunts, Connie Collins, Kathy Malloy, Denise Hammond, Cathy Arbogast; two nephews, Bryce and Owen Arbogast; several cousins and her beloved dog Tucker. Brooke was preceded in death by her "Gramma Doris" Kennard and "Pappy" Earl Arbogast. Visitation will be held at Laurel Hill Funeral Home on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and her service will be on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 1 p.m. Online condolences may be made at laurelhillfuneralhome.com.
