Bruce E. Doden, 55, of Burr Hill, departed this life Saturday, November 17, 2007 at his home surrounded by his wife and family members.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; his step daughter, Shawn Renee Carl and step son, Ryan Walker; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Melaina Carl; his father Eugene Doden of Buffalo Mills, PA; two sisters, Chris Clause of Falls Church and Linda Clendening of Woodstock.
Mr. Doden was employed as an Appraiser with USAA for 15 years. He was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. In addition to being a wonderful PawPaw, he will be most missed for his laughter, his smile, his kind heart, and integrity.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 20, 2007 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Laurel Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be at Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
