Byron P. Settle Jr, 84, passed away peacefully at his home on the morning of February 4th, surrounded by his loving family. He was a wonderful friend, who loved his work as a farmer and general contractor. When he wasn't on the job, you could find him casting a line and enjoying the peace of nature.

Byron was born in Arlington, VA on January 3rd, 1940 to Byron P. Settle Sr. and Gladys (Lancaster) Settle. He met his love, Jane (Smith) Settle, and together created a family with daughters, Tammy (Randy) Dickerson, and Jeannie (Jim) Good. Bryon was also a loving grandfather and great-grandfather to 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his loving parents.

Byron's visitation will take place Friday, February 9th at 10:30AM at Laurel Hill Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11AM, followed immediately by a graveside service at Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
