Carl Jasper Edwards, age 91, of Fredericksburg, passed away on June 10,2004. Mr. Edwards was a member of Zoan Baptist Church for over 50 years. He retired from Galahan's Furniture Store. His wife Lydia Edwards preceded him in death. He is survived by: one son Lawrence Owen (Bonnie S.) Edwards of Harpers Ferry,WV and one daughter Louise (Raymond) Childress of Elkwood, Va., and 5 Grandchildren, 7Great grandchildren and one sister Jakie Bryant of Scottsville,Va. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm till 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 13, 2004. Services will be at 2:00 pm at Laurel Hill Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
