Obit for Mr. Carl A. Natter
Carl Albert Natter (King of Rt. 1), 67, of Spotsylvania, passed away Friday, March 24, 2006 in the Veterans Hospital, Richmond.
Mr. Natter was a US Navy Veteran, a member of the American Legion, National Rifle Association, and an avid sportsman, indulging in fishing, hunting and boating. He also had a great concern for and in helping the homeless of the Mt. Vernon area in northern Virginia.
He is survived by his, companion and wife, of 45 years, Sheila Natter, his two sisters, Martha Jean Kalkahron of Alexandria and Julia Herring of Colonial Beach, his two nephews Wesley and Donald Higham of Franconia, his sisters in law, Sharon Breeding and Linda Simpson, his brothers in law, Richard, Charles and Harry Tabor, his nieces in law, Linda and Jackie and nephew in law, Clint Phillips. His son Michael Natter predeceases him.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:30 PM, Wednesday March 29, 2006 at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, Spotsylvania. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 (prior to the service) on Wednesday. Burial will be private
