Carmen Rosa Leguia, 80 of Spotsylvania, died Thursday, October 22, 2009, at her residence.
Born in Lima, Peru, she was a daughter of the late Enrique and Zenobia Perez Leguia.
Carmen was a homemaker, and a loving mother and grandmother, who taught her family that same love.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, her one love, Jorge Sanchez.
Carmen is survived by three daughters, Pilar Alfaro and her husband Mario; Sara Aldana and her husband Gaston; Luren Alfaro and her husband Jorge; one son, Jose Leguia and his wife Sarilu; 11 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; two brothers, Enrique Leguia and Raul Leguia; and one sister, Herlinda Leguia.
A funeral service will be conducted at 4:00pm Saturday, October 24, 2009, in the chapel of Laurel Hill Funeral Home with the Pastor Steve Hay officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 - 4:00pm, prior to the service.
