Carol E. Cassidy, 78, of Clarksville, TN passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 30 th , 2023, at her residence.

Our mom was an active member of her Independent Retirement Community, The Villages at the River Club.  She enjoyed her yoga classes, walking, and attending community events.  She loved to read, cook, do puzzles, and hide chocolates from her daughter. She encouraged her son to exercise and eat right but of course we all know he takes it to the extreme. She was kind, loving, and always had a smile on her face.  She was an awesome mother and grandmother who will be truly missed.

Survivors include her children, Michael Cassidy (Jennifer), Lisa Cassidy (McGraw), and son-in-law George McGraw; grandchildren Jason Cassidy, Joseph McGraw, and Ryan McGraw; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, her parents, her brother Jimmy, and his wife Linda.

A service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13 th , 2023, at Laurel Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park located at 10127 Plank Road, Spotsylvania Courthouse, Virginia 22553.  Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Somerset College Poodle Rescue located in Fairfax, Virginia 22033. Our mother got her sweet dog Kimber from Somerset College Poodle Rescue.
