Carol Jean Winebarger, 80, passed away on May 15, 2022 in her Fredericksburg home. Jean was born on April 7th, 1942 to Charles and Juanita Meek in Marion, VA. She was an incredibly loving wife, mother, and "maw-maw" to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father, and brothers, Bill and Richard Meek. Jean is survived by her husband, Herbert; two sisters, Dot (Bill) and Joyce (Hal); two sons, Brett (Kelley) and Barry (Marsha); five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 11-1PM at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, services will be held at 1PM. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
