Catherine Deihr, age 80 of Louisa, died Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville.
Born in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Omer B. and Grace Clark Fisher.
Mrs. Deihr was an administrative assistant for State Farm Insurance.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald Marven Ferrell; her second husband, George Clarence Deihr, Jr.; three brothers, Charles W. Fisher, Omer B. Fisher, Jr., and Ralph C. Fisher; one sister, Juanita Bailey; and one great granddaughter, Miakota Barrack.
Mrs. Deihr is survived by her three sons, Ronald Michael Ferrell (Kazue), James Patrick Ferrell (Mary), and Brian Keith Ferrell (Gael); two stepdaughters, Pat Layton and Barbara Brown; four grandsons, Michael Gou Ferrell, William W. Barrack, Everett R. Barrack, and Harvey S. Barrack; four granddaughters, Jade Marami Ferrell, Peggy J. Page, Kellie Anne Ferrell, and Megan Leigh Ferrell; two brothers, James F. Fisher (Juanita), and David Whiting (Myrtle); two sisters, Betty Toler, and Peggy Saben (Rolfe); several great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00am Saturday, January 26 in the chapel of Laurel Hill Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends from 6 - 9pm Friday at the funeral home.
