Catherine R. Falco Catherine R. Falco, 65, of Fredericksburg passed away at Mary Washington Hospital on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011.
Mrs. Falco was born in Queens, N.Y., on Aug. 2, 1946, the daughter of the late John and Mary Kennedy Grochowski.
At one time she had her own business. She had worked for Ukrop's until it closed. Most recently she worked for the Spotsylvania County school system.
She was the widow of Anthony Falco. She is survived by her two sisters, Joanne Lotito and her husband, Dominick, of Fredericksburg and Marianne Belcore and her husband, Frank, of Richmond; two brothers Timothy Grochowski and his wife, Carol, of New Jersey and John Grochowski of New York; nieces Danielle, Dina, Carole and Kelly; nephews John, Jerry, Dominick, Bobby, T.J., Michael and Vincent; and six little angels, Anthony, Michael, Robert, Katelyn, Jake and Jason; and many more family and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Laurel Hill Funeral Home. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday Oct. 12, at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Mrs. Falco's name to Central Virginia Food Bank, 1415 Rhoadmiller St., Richmond, Va. 23218.
