Charles C. Coffman, age 95 of Spotsylvania, died Tuesday, February 26, 2008, at his residence.
Born in Woodstock, Virginia, he was the son of the late Charles S. and Mary Ramsey Coffman. Mr. Coffman retired as a foreman from Potomac Electric Power Company after 41 years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his second wife, Dolly Coffman, and his first wife, Ernestine Blake.
Survivors include his children, Patricia Magner, Charlene Tiller, Charles E. Coffman, Stewart Coffman, Richard Coffman, and Mary Lou Jackson; stepchildren, Gary Langin and John Wayne Langin; 30 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren, and 31 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00pm Friday, February 29, 2008 in the chapel of Laurel Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Deborah Duncun officiating. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
