Christa K. Walters, 69 of Spotsylvania, Va. passed away Sunday evening, May 5, 2013 at Golden Living Center in Fredericksburg, Va.
Christa was born on March 8, 1944 to Karl and Anna (Fisher) Kurz in Goeppingen, Germany. She married Paul Walters in Germany, where they lived for a few years before moving to Pennsylvania. They moved to Virginia, and settled in Spotsylvania County in 1992. Christa worked as a stock clerk for Sears in Dale City then Fredericksburg.
Survivors include: her husband Paul; 1 son, Paul K. and his wife Amy Walters of Nashville, TN; 1 daughter Natascha and her husband Mike Zombro of Lake Ridge, Va.1 sister, Anita Walter, Lorch, Germany; and 2 grandchildren, Nicholas and Ashley Zombro.
