Clarence A. Lusby, age 88 of Fredericksburg, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at his residence.
Mr. Lusby was born in Alexandria, Virginia, and was a US Navy Veteran, having served in WWII.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Frances Campbell Lusby; two brothers, Walter and Harry Lusby; and one sister, Polly Kagey.
Mr. Lusby is survived by two daughters, Helen Jerman, Triangle, VA; Linda Humphrey and her husband, Steve of Fredericksburg; two grandchildren, Stephanie and Steve Humphrey, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00pm Saturday, July 26, 2008 in the chapel of Laurel Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Boyette officiating. Interment will be in Quantico National Cemetery at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00pm Friday, July 25, 2008 at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, 10127 Plank Rd, Spotsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mary Washington Hospice, or to the Diabetes Foundation.
