David Robert Jerabek, age 65 of Lake of the Woods, Locust Grove, died Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Inova Fairfax Hospital.
Born in Ashtabula, Ohio he was the son of the late Harold and Ione Jerabek.
Mr. Jerabek retired from the U.S. Army, and from a successful career as an accountant with the Department of Labor in Washington, DC.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Jerabek of Locust Grove; daughter, Isabel Jerabek of Las Cruces, New Mexico; brother, Jeff Jerabek of Salem, Oregon.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00pm Monday, January 12, 2009 in the chapel of Laurel Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Amos Healy officiating. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 11 from 6:00 - 8:00pm at the funeral home.
