David Leo Thomas, 72, of Spotsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 10, 2023, after a short battle with leukemia. David was born on December 26, 1950 in Newport News, VA.  He graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School.  David married Mary Christeen "Tina" Wickman on November 2, 1974 in Manassas. They moved to Spotsylvania in 1977. He worked for Verizon for 30+ years.

David is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Tina. He is survived by his children: daughter, Christie; son, David Jr. (Beth); and grandchildren Ariel Goodrich and Tripp Thomas.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 21, 1pm-2:15pm at Laurel Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 10127 Plank Rd. Spotsylvania, VA 22553. A graveside service will immediately follow thereafter at 2:30PM.
