Delores Luebkert passed away peacefully on Sunday July 14, 2024. Delores was born in Alexandria, Virginia on December 2, 1934. She was the daughter of Charles Clyde and Marian Elizabeth Armstrong.
Delores met, fell in love, and later married Edward Luebkert. Their wedding took place in the fall on November 14, 1953. Together they raised three children, Victoria, Dennis, and Tracey.
Delores took on the awesome role of being a homemaker to her husband and kids. This home was filled with love and Delores extended that love outside of the home. She made sure she could be present in every way for anyone who needed her.
Her daughter Tracey, said of her mother, that she was a rock for her family. Mom, Dad, aunts, uncles, cousin, her husband, her children, and the Lord was unconditional! She had a beautiful smile that radiated to everyone. A great hugger, that when she hugged you it felt like all your cares would be taken away
Delores had a strong relationship with God that remained present through the entirety of her life. She was a devoted member of Growth Church in Fredericksburg, VA. Through her Christian life she became a faithful prayer warrior to all in need.
Delores is preceded in death by her parents Charles Clyde and Marian Elizabeth, her spouse Edward James Luebkert, her eldest children Victoria Susan Harrison, Dennis Elwood Luebkert, brothers Charles William Armstrong, James Douglas Armstrong.
Delores is survived by her daughter Tracey (Michael) Sheedy, numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, 10127 Plank Road Spotsylvania, VA 22553 on Friday, July 26 from 10:00am to 11:00am. The funeral service will follow immediately at 11:00am at the funeral home. Immediately following, the burial will be at Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Laurel Hill Funeral Home expenses.
