Dennis Houston Booth, Sr., 57, of Spotsylvania, VA, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at his home.
Mr. Booth was self-employed as a Dry Wall Contractor and prior to that work at the St. Joe Paper Co. in New Castle DE.
Mr. Booth was the son of the late David Houston and Bertha Faye Booth and is survived by his wife Rose L. Booth; his first wife, Ardelia M. Sartin of Delaware, his two sons Dennis Houston Booth, Jr. and Anthony Proctor both of Spotsylvania; his two daughters, Tammy Lynn Sosa and Laurie Ann Brown both of Spotsylvania; his four brothers, David Booth of WV, Roger Booth of NJ, Teddy Booth of WV and Edward Booth of Spotsylvania; his three sisters, Mary Midkiff of VA, Jean Spence, and Sandra Blankenship both of WV; his six grandchildren, Jose Sosa, Alex Sosa, Matthew Sosa, Felicia Booth, Ardelia Elizabeth Booth and Dennis Wayne Houston Booth all of Spotsylvania and many more family and friends. He is also pre-deceased by his sister, Louise Wilson and his brother, James Henry Booth.
Funeral Services will be conducted 1 PM, Friday December 2nd, 2005 at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, Spotsylvania. Rev. John Swain will officiate. Burial will be Saturday December 3rd, 2005 at 2PM in the Broyles Cemetery, Lindside, WV. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
