Diane June Shugart, 75, of Fredericksburg, Va, passed away on November 4, 2024.
Diane was born in New York, attended college and graduated from James Madison University, and retired after teaching for Stafford County Schools for 20 years.
Diane was married to her loving Husband Robert Dennis Shugart on July 5, 1974.
Diane spent many years traveling and enjoying her time with her family and her grandchildren.
She loved nothing more than taking family cruises and vacations. She enjoyed visiting the beach,  Josh Groban music, and her pets.
Her family was the light of her life, and her legacy will continue on through them.
Diane is preceded in death by her loving Husband Robert Dennis Shugart.
She is survived by three children.
Meagan Denette and her husband Joe, Michael Shugart and his wife Robyn, and James Shugart and his wife Jacqueline, and her ten grandchildren, Hunter, Aidan, Haley, Bentley, Gavin, Brooklyn, Hudson, Kylie, Robert, and Beckham.
The family is hosting a public viewing on Monday November 11, 2024 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, 10127 Plank Road, Spotsylvania, VA 22553.
