Doris Marie Butler, age 64 of Lake of the Woods, Locust Grove, died Monday, September 1, 2008 at her residence.
Born in Newport News, VA she was the daughter of Margaret and the late Raymond Clark. Mrs. Butler had been a receptionist at Garnett's Hair Salon in Fredericksburg for 10 years, and was a U.S. Navy employee for 17 years as the food service manager at the Bethesda Naval Hospital.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, James Butler; son, Robert W. Lambert; grandchildren, Jimmy and Tiffany Lambert, all of Locust Grove; and a brother, Carl Clark, Bowie, MD.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00pm Friday, September 5, 2008 in the chapel of Laurel Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Karen B. Petersen officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Orange County Humane Society.
