Dorothy Jean "Dotti" (Hamilton) DiPietro, 75, of Fredericksburg, passed away Saturday Feb. 22, 2014 at Hughes Home, Fredericksburg. Dotti was born on Nov. 25, 1938 to Fred and Grace (Spring) Hamilton, in Canton, OH. She married John J. DiPietro on Nov. 11, 1996, in Las Vegas, and they made their home in Fredericksburg, moving from Canton, OH. Snow skiing was one of her great joys, and this is how she met John.
Dotti was a beautician, in Canton, OH, and then in Fredericksburg, where she owned C Street Salon and Spa.
Survivors include; her husband John, 1 son John Steffen, Denver NC; 1 dau. Melanie Umlauf, Canton, OH; 5 grandchildren; Chad, Marissa, Lydia Umlauf and Grace, Claire Steffen. Dotti was preceded in death by her parents and 1 bro; Ron Hamilton.
Visitation will be held on Sat. Mar. 1, 2014, 12 noon to 1 pm, with Memorial Service at 1 pm, both at Laurel Hill Funeral Home. Rev. Keith Boyette will be officiating.
