DOUGLAS RAE KUNZE
Douglas Rae Kunze, 58, a resident of Locust Grove, Virginia, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax, Virginia.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of the Fredericksburg Moose Lodge #1655. He was the Director of Security Services for Professional Systems Engineering, LLC and attended St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Mr. Kunze is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kathleen S. Kunze; his stepmother, Anne M. Kunze of Buffalo, New York; his three daughters, Kimberley A. Hitt, Spotsylvania, Virginia; Kara L. Kirby, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Kristen R. Kunze, of Virginia Beach, Virginia. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Devin R. Hitt, Leann B. Hitt, Courtney F. Hitt, Brandon D. Kirby, and Christopher D. Kirby. A memorial service will be held at Laurel Hill Funeral Home Chapel at 11 am on Friday, January 14th, followed by a family gathering until 1 pm at Laurel Hill Funeral Home.
