Edward Joseph Burns, born on December 12, 1945 in Long Island City, New York, passed on into eternal life on September 16, 2022 in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

He was a loving husband to the late Carole A. Burns, devoted father to Kenneth, Michael (Cindy), and Carole (John), and grandfather to Mick, Patrick, Michael, Kaila, Tommy, Katelyn, and Jason. He will be forever in the hearts of his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, 10127 Plank Rd. Spotsylvania, VA 22553. Funeral Services will be held at Laurel Hill Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 with interment to follow at Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
