Mr. Edward John Ford, III, age 65 of Locust Grove, died peacefully Thursday, April 10, 2008 at his residence. Born in Brooklyn, NY he was the son of the late Edward, Jr. and Adele Garribba Ford.
Mr. Ford was a U.S. Navy veteran, having been stationed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. He was also an accomplished hairstylist for the past 10 years in the Fredericksburg area, and was employed with Salono Salono. Mr. Ford was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia D. Ford of Locust Grove; daughter, Lauren Baker; son, Mark Ford; 3 grandchildren, Benjamin, Megan, and Amelia.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00am Monday, April 14, 2008 at Trinity Episcopal Church. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Sunday, April 13 from 7:00 - 9:00pm at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, 10127 Plank Road, Spotsylvania.
