Edward Brian Wiechowski, 73, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the home of his daughter, Megan in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Ed graduated from Edison High School in central New Jersey and obtained a bachelor's degree from Murray State University. He was a locomotive engineer with Amtrak for 25 years. Ed was an avid sports enthusiast and nothing gave him more pleasure than watching his children and grandchildren participate in the sports they loved.

Predeceased by his parents Edward J and Rita H Wiechowski, Ed will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 52 years, Elena Padovano Wiechowski, his children Megan Nitkowski, Brian Wiechowski and Amanda Quimper; the children of his heart, CJ Nitkowski, Michael Horan and Tony Quimper; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Brooke, Anthony, Luke, Caroline and Joseph.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 9151 Elys Ford Road, Fredericksburg, VA on Thursday, August 4th 2022 at 11am. Interment to follow at Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
