Einar "Ted" Robert Ludvigsen, 81, of Locust Grove, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018 at his home, with his wife at his side.  Ted was born on December 24, 1936 to Einar and Vera Louisa (Gustaffson) Ludvigsen in Newark, NJ.  He attended the University of Maryland and was a veteran of the US Army.  Ted married Judith Manning Dexter on August 1, 1958 in Fitchburg, MA. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #215, Silver Spring, MD and the ACCA Shriners of Richmond, VA.  After retiring Ted and Judith moved to Lake of the Woods in 1992, where he enjoyed being a member of the LOW Golf Club.  Survivors include, his wife Judith; two sons, Einar "Ted" Jr. (Connie), Christopher "Chris" (Laura); two grandchildren, Kathryn Ann Miller (Andrew), Robert Alan Ludvigsen and a great granddaughter, Grace Miller.  Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Laurel Hill Funeral Home at 12 noon, with the family receiving friends beginning at 10:30 a.m.  Inurnment will be at Culpeper National Cemetery on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the LOW Fire and Rescue 104 Lakeview Pkwy.
