Eldon Earl Meador, 81, of Fredericksburg, passed away Wednesday December 27, 2006 at the home of his daughter.
Mr. Meador was a retired Master Sergeant in the US. Air Force. He was the husband of two late wives; Mildred Elizabeth Meador and Marjorie Ruth Meador and is survived by his three daughters, Elizabeth Ann Lamb, of Iowa City, Iowa, Diana T. Evans, of Fredericksburg and Gloria Y. Smith, of Las Vegas, Nevada; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; also numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday December 30, 2006 at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, Spotsylvania. Rev. Paul McKessick will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
