Eleanor Kingsley passed away on February 19, 2022, at the age of 93 in Mineral, VA , after a short illness . She was blessed with good health the majority of her life , a great sense of humor that helped her through the hard times, and a supportive extended family.

Eleanor was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and most recently a great-great grandmother. Born in Templeville , MD, on August 31, 1928, she was the youngest of ten children born to Guerney Lowman and Molly (Glanding) Lowman. She moved to Virginia, where she raised her four daughters with her first husband, Henry Pusey . She is preceded in death by her second husband, William Kingsley.

Her interests included her pets, watching Washington football, Washington Nationals baseball, soap operas, word puzzles and, for a time, serving and being an active member on the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW . She loved being a "Virginian" and h er greatest joys in life were her family , her friends, her neighbors and her pets .

In addition to her husband, Eleanor was preceded in death by her closest and dearest sister, Louise Trice, and 8 other siblings . Eleanor is survived by her four daughter s , Cheryle Grier, Pamela Pusey, Diane Ball and Sandra Pusey ; seven grandchildren, Ray Bryant, Jr., Bonnie McGann, Mark Bryant, Elizabeth Ball, Samantha Pierson, Michael Encinias and Melissa Encinias ; seven great-grandchildren, Austin, Chase , Amanda, Davi d , Bryan, Dorian , and Vincent; and one great- great-grandchild, Mika. She is also survived by her dear niece and nephew, Connie McDougall and Martin Trice.

A Life Celebration will be held at Belmont Baptist Church, 7221 Belmont Road, Mineral, VA 23117 on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 10:30AM.

Funeral services will be held at Quantico National Cemetery on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 1PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that you Adopt a Cat or donate to her favorite charity, "St. Jude Hospital".
