Faye L. Wood, age 80, of Frederick, MD, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024. She was she preceded in death by her husband, William Wood, and her son; Jeffery Wood.

She was born in Pasco, Washington, the daughter of Harry and Edna. Faye loved cooking and baking, not only for her family, but for others. She also had a huge passion for wildlife and landscape photography, but more than anything, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Faye is survived by her son; Dwight Wood and wife Serena, and granddaughter; Autumn Wood and fiance Wade.

A visitation will be held at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701 on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The family will also receive friends at Laurel Hill Memorial Park, 10127 Plank Road, Spotsylvania, VA 22553 on Monday, August 26, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Burial service will immediately follow.
