It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Elizabeth Winn Brooks, age 51, of Locust Grove. She passed away on December 5, 2010 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg. She was the daughter of the late Albert William Winn, Sr. and JoAnn Frances Winn of Locust Grove, VA.
Also surviving is her husband, Ernest John Brooks, Sr. of Locust Grove, one son Ernest John Brooks, Jr. of Augusta County, VA, three brothers, Kenneth Winn of Locust Grove, Jake Jacobs of Richmond and John Jacobs of Florida; one sister, Cathy Jacobs of Alabama and one grandchild, Joseph Alster Brooks of Stafford.
Family will receive friends Friday December 10, 2010 at Laurel Hill Funeral Home from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
