Forrest Bruce Wilkening of Fredericksburg departed this world on Wednesday April 27, 2022 at the age of 85. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Jeanette Wilkening, a daughter Linda Rudmann (Joseph), three grandchildren Gina Quick (Dexter), Michael Rudmann and William Rudmann, and two great-grandchildren Adam and Liam Quick.

"Woody" as he liked to be called was born May 18, 1936 in New York. He proudly served in the United States Navy and enjoyed his duty stations in Hawaii and Texas. He relocated to Virginia in the early 80s and became the proprietor of Collector's Den, a store in downtown Fredericksburg. Woody had a great joy for life and will be greatly missed.
