SMITH, Frances A. "Fran", 71, of Spotsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020. She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Gordon N. Smith Jr. Fran is survived by her daughters, Teresa Ijames, Michelle Breeden(Guy), Amy Doron(Sagie); grandchildren, J.C and Paige Ijames, Tony Breeden, Amber Curtiss, Lauren and Jacob Doron; sisters, Joann Roby, Molly Chumley; and many other family members and friends. A lifelong native of Virginia and military wife, Fran was a simple woman of faith and family. Though her steps were light, her mark is heavy as she leaves behind so much love. We find peace in knowing she is reunited with her eternal love in heaven.

Due to COVID restrictions a graveside service for family only will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 12pm at Laurel Hill Memorial Park, 10127 Plank Rd. Spotsylvania, VA 22553.
